Accreditation

Educational programs administered by the Department of Nurse Anesthesia are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational programs (COA; 222. S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, IL, 60068, (847) 692-7050).

The Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSNA) program received a 10-year accreditation in 2001. The Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice and combined degree MSNA-DNAP were approved by the COA in June, 2007. The next accreditation review by the COA is scheduled for 2011.
