Elizabeth Howell graduated from our program in 2004 with her Master's Degree in
Nurse Anesthesia. She joined our faculty in the fall of 2008. Prior to matriculation at V.C.U., Mrs. Howell earned
a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Mercer University and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the Medical College
of Georgia.
Mrs. Howell is a clinical nurse anesthetist with Hanover Anesthesia Group and
provides anesthesia services at Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Howell's research interests include education of healthcare professionals,
evaluating the "learning environment", high-fidelity human simulation and patient safety.
