Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD)

The Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD)

The Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) degree is a professional, rather than a research, doctorate in occupational therapy. It culminates in a Capstone Leadership Project in lieu of a thesis or a dissertation. Combining distance education and on-campus instructional methodologies, the OTD program is designed to appeal to working practitioners who are adult learners with either a BS or an MS in occupational therapy. Students will take approximately 2 courses a semester and complete the program within 3 to 4 years.
