| The Post-Professional Master of Science Degree Program in Occupational Therapy is a distance-education
program for registered occupational therapists who already have a bachelor's degree. The program is for highly motivated
adult learners with a clear interest in developing research skills and in providing theory- and evidence-based practice. |

The program provides therapists with opportunities to develop advanced clinical problem solving skills
and abstract reasoning. Upon program completion, the student should have increased ability to:

The program follows the traditional Fall, Spring, Summer semester schedule and consists
of theory and research core courses, concentration courses, and 6 credits of thesis research. Students should enter the
program with a concentration and research interest identified. Currently available concentrations include
gerontology and
pediatrics. Up to 6 credits may
be taken at other institutions and transferred in, with permission of the advisor. The curriculum includes 33 credit
hours of courses. |
