Rev. Rosalind Bradley
Assistant Professor and ACPE Supervisor, Program in Patient Counseling
Reverend Bradley serves as an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor and Assistant Professor in the Program of Patient Counseling. She holds an Bachelor of Arts from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in biology; a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Master of Science in Patient Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University; and a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology of Virginia Union University. She is an ordained minister endorsed by the Alliance of Baptists. At Virginia Commonwealth University she is a member of the Workforce Diversity Committee and Black Educators Association.
Before joining the Patient Counseling staff, Reverend Bradley served as a laboratory specialist for more than 20 years with the School of Basic Health Sciences, Virginia Commonwealth University in the Departments of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Pediatrics. Reverend Bradley joined the Program in Patient Counseling in 2004. She has also served as an Associate Minister, Minister of Pastoral Care, and Pastor of local Baptist churches.
Reverend Bradley was the Director of Spiritual Care Services at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia for nearly three years. She was instrumental in setting up the Clinical Pastoral Education satellite program there where she supervised first unit chaplain interns. Her duties at Southside Regional Medical Center also included serving as the co-chair of the Ethics committee, coordinator of the Volunteer Chaplains, co-facilitator of the Bereavement Support Group, and member of the Cancer Committee.
