| Mrs. Dempsey has over twenty years experience in hospitals as a radiation
therapist, medical dosimetrist and administrator. After spending two years at Harvard's Joint Center for
Radiation Therapy in Boston, she relocated to Richmond where she managed the local HCA Hospitals' Radiation
Therapy Centers. Mrs. Dempsey joined VCU in July 2006 where she focuses on radiation therapy physics,
radiobiology and patient care courses. Additionally, she serves on the American Association of Medical
Dosimetrists Board of Directors and the Editorial Review Board of the ASRT publication, Radiation
Therapist. |
