Prerequisites


To begin your education in the entry-level programs in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology, you must first complete the courses listed below prior to enrolling in the program.

These prerequisite courses also apply to those RTs interested in the second modality and completion programs but who do not hold at least an Associate's degree.

* Students outside of VCU must complete 2 semesters (6 credits) of freshman composition.
*** Outside of VCU, complete Physics sequences (f multi-semester) must be completed.
