Earn a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a Certificate in Aging and emphasis in working with Older Adults who are Deaf-Blind

Through a grant from Helen Keller National Center in New York, VCU has developed an innovative program to train rehabilitation counselors to work with older adults who are deaf-blind, or who are experiencing loss of both vision and hearing. This program provides cross training in rehabilitation counseling, aging studies, and deaf-blindness. Financial support is available for a limited number of trainees.
